richieudon 4
Hello Does anyone know if I can take my wife and step daughter to Luang Prabang if they don't have passports? I know they can go to Vientiane but not sure if they can travel all around Laos without one. Thanks
thurien 558
Thai nationals only have to present their ID card (no passport necessary) when entering Laos, this goes for all regions/areas, not only for the capital Edited September 19, 2010 by thurien
rfukata 95
for a Thai national you can apply for a border pass with Thai ID at the border, the validity of stay last year was good for 3 days however I would get additional clarification from members. I know you can get some paper for 150 baht at Friendship Bridge but as I said, I'm pretty sure you can only travel in and around Vientiane City.
