Memory Management & Optimization For Windows 7

Unlike Windows XP, this is not necessary with Windows 7. Even disk defragmentation is automatically performed.

The only thing to consider, is CCleaner for the tasks that Windows 7 doesn't automatically perform.

I have found that 7 manages things just fine without any other software. It is far faster and more stable than Vista or XP and love it

obviously both speed, stability and love are relative... :whistling:

You can add in USB flashdrive to augment system memory, by plugging it in and going into its properties - Readyboost and dedicate it to Readyboost.

Win 7 32-bit can accept 4GB flashdrive and 64-bit can accept 8GB.

I guess MS finally got it right with W7 !

I have been using 64 bit Windows 7 ultimate since January or so... not really any major problems at all.... (fingers crossed!) :D

The 4Gb restriction only applies to Vista. Win 7 32 & 64 bit versions allows much more.
