When I did a PoiPet run from Bangkok, I paid 2000 baht all-in, using Fine Day Tours 016217598 Very nice double-decker tour bus with reclining seats and VCDs playing on a TV screen. Includes one can of soda on each way, and lunch in one of the casinos. They pick up by Asoke BTS. I was expecting some minivan full of farang, and instead found a tour bus full of Japanese and Koreans. Only extra thing one needs is a photo for the visa. phastmike Posted July 31, 2005 Share Posted July 31, 2005 1) Go to Mochit and take a bus to Aranyaprathet (193Baht) 2) After arriving take a tuk-tuk (60Baht) or a motorbike (40Baht) to the border 3) Departure stamp on thai side and go to Cambodian visa building on no mans land. (Visa 1000Baht) 4) Arrival stamp on Cambodian border and cross to the other side for a departure stamp 5) Arrival stamp on thai border 6) tuk-tuk or motorbike to Bus station (60 or 40 baht) 7) don't go on weekends. I have never paid more than $20, except for my first run when I paid 1000B. Have your photos and your $20 bill. You can achieve this by smiling, but insisting on the price. I'm not a cheapskate, but I do like to pay the real price for what I am getting. But it's all up to you what you want to do...
