Yea, for some reason, they simply don't get it. Our solar, barely, sometimes not even produces enough energy to power the house, IF waned to run both ACs, so need to be conservative that day. Means the cost of that system, was to power the house, not the EVs. For us, we didn't even have the BEV (car). Having solar was definitely added motivation to get a BEV (car). That it does produce enough excess to power the EVs, at no extra cost, is a bonus. So the EVs are energized at no extra expense = FREE in my world. Didn't cost anything extra = FREE Maybe this will help ... "I'll have a coffee" "Would you care for some pie?" "No thanks, I don't have enough money" "No problem, no extra charge" "You mean FREE ?" -

There are no safety regulations in Thailand . Taxis,tuc tucs , vans , buses , cars , mini buses, they are all potential death traps.Thailands road accidents are a disgrace to all mankind. Wake up the lazy authorities who don’t give a damn about anything. Name and shame them all. Construction of the millions of condos, lifts, pavements, road crossings, traffic lights, cameras that are broken , please tell me something that is done well? Lives do not matter to the government, authorities, or the police forces. Shame on them all. -

Is Thailand Value for money
Thailand is good value for money. Examples: House in Australia 20 million Baht. Equivalent house here 5 million baht. Rent here 10 K baht/MONTH. Equivalent rent in Australia 10K baht/WEEK. Car registration in Australia 16K baht. Here, less than 2K baht. One hour massage here, 200 baht. In Australia, 1500 baht minimum. Not just value. I don't know of too many other places in the world, where I can enjoy a GF who is 23 years younger than me. Anyone who has a brain can negotiate Immigration requirements quite easily. Perhaps the OP's brain cells don't stretch that far. -

According to senior researcher at the Thailand Development Research Institute Nichamon Thongphat, if a bus is catorized as an "informal" bus (not a public bus) it is not regulated by the Department of Land Transportation requiring registration. I'd think that when used to transport vulnerable school children, such vehicle must be registered and annually inspected for children's safety. The subject bus appears to be a "double decker." Until a horrific fatality accident of a double decker bus in March 2018 in which 18 people were killed and more than 30 injured, operators of double decker buses were required to have LTD confirm safety standards. Following that accident LTD stopped accepting new registrations of double decker buses. Outside water pump to uprate pressure
Thanks very much for the reply. The project was completed 15 months ago on the cheap, using existing pipework as much as possible, it is all 1/2inch, the pump was 1650baht off Lazada only gtd 6 months so on a cost to get it all working I was quite pleased but now I think it is time to do it properly. The 2k water tank is fine, the positioning is fine for an electrical point so my plan is to replace all the pipework to 1 inch from pump to T into the 1/2 inch pipe into the Bungalow, roughly 12 mts, from seeing some of your diagrams/plans in other threads I notice there were no non-return valves fitted so those will be fitted, do you think a 200w Hitachi XX series constant pressure will be ok? There are 3 points into the house 2 bathrooms and a kitchen, I have a hosepipe point for the garage which will be at one end of the 1 inch pipe, the other 3 outdoor hose outlets are on the mains system before the water tank inlet, so not bothered about pressure there. Looking at I believe your diagram, (many thanks), I had no non-returns fitted and it was all a bit Heath Robertson, using old shutoff valves, this will all be brought up to spec. 1 question, the house supply line would it be ok to T piece it and go left to the kitchen and carport and the right side to the 2 bathroom inlets? or should it be on a ring? -
