tutsiwarrior Posted October 9, 2010 Share Posted October 9, 2010 (edited) I've used cdwow.com to have a few dozen DVD's shipped, replaced my entire video-cassette collection with them...much better shipping arrangement than amazon and very responsive when things go missing in the post...very good selection as well including obscure foreign and old classics (but no copies of the cuban classic 'Memories of underdevelopment' by Tomas Gutierrez Alea...dam_n...) however you must have a multi-zone dvd player as all of their stuff is not suitable for zone 3 or however SE Asia is classified; a lot of cheap players on offer in Tescos/carrefor etc are multi-zone or 'zone-less', just check the box... Must admit, Lauren Bacal ( think thats how you spell it ) in her early rolls was awesome. AAAh Lauren..lovely... I want to find "The Back of Beyond" fifties Shell movie about the "Mailman of the Birdsville track"..can get it from Aussie film archives at a horrendous price ...so will try Amazon edit..not there sigh.. Saw it at the top of one of your links. Thanks! I've downloaded a ton of classics. Every Bogart, every John Wayne (hey, I from the Western US), every James Bond, etc. Great stuff to watch.
