Is America doomed
Dude, you have no idea of the gargantuan amount of energy involved in climate change. The Tsar Bomba at 50 megatons is the most powerful nuclear device ever made. It releases 2X1017joules of energy. Since the Industrial Revolution, the oceans have warmed by 1 degree C. Sounds insignificant, right? The oceans in volume are 1,335,000,000 cubic kilometres. To raise ocean water temperature by 1 degree C would require 5.6 X 1024 joules. In other words, 20 million Tsar Bombas would be needed to achieve the same effect. How significant are clouds as a factor, in the opinion of the pro and anti-groups? -

Condo wants tax details for EV charger ?!
Just go to your condo management and ask them to get the app working for you. Tell them you’re not a taxpayer. I have charged with 4 different CPO’s, PTT, PEA, Elexa and Reversharger. Not one of them required any tax information from me, since I don’t have any. -

Why are Cambodian people so friendly?
My experience is similar - Cambodian border officials (I've entered and exited at every land border Cambodia shares with Thailand, the one with Laos and a number of the Vietnamese ones, as well as Siem Reap and Phnom Penh airports) are almost universally unfriendly. Customs officials are mostly friendly though, even at Poipet (if you bring your own car in for example). The Cambodian people in general, are remarkably friendly overall, with the exception of immigration officials. Thai immigration officials are friendly at remote border crossings whereas Thai people are 50/50. Some are friendly others are rather surly.
