I want to import about 25,000 secondhand books (educational and otherwise) I own in Australia to Thailand for a commercial project in the Isaan. I haven't a clue how to start the ball rolling. I have contacted several customs brokers in Bangkok, but no one has bothered to reply. I am also worried about the amount of duty/VAT etc I may have to pay, as potentially this could sink the project before it begins.

Any help or advice gratefully received.
