Russian Real Estate Investor Brutally Murdered In Pattaya

webfact

Recommended Posts

just read the full report, and this has to be the BIGGEST <deleted> of the day

At present, Col. Teerapol was reluctant to reveal what charges the two men were facing. However, investigations into the whereabouts of Mr. Alexandrov and any other suspects involved in the murder were ongoing.

Editor's Note: PDN have obtained information from a reputable source within the local police that the two men, Mr. Gasanov and Mr. Aramsis, have not yet been charged with any offence and have been released from custody.

Due to the length of the discussion mentioned in the police report, I feel it is very likely that the pair have struck a deal with police or are taking part in a further operation to arrest Mr. Alexandrov and any other people involved.

so they admit more or less to the murder, show where the body is, have the full ' assin ' kit in there car, and then RELEASED !!!

Sure, because they had recently received US10K and B300K, plus leaving the B125K for, um, evidence

MMMmmmm I made remarks on TV earlier this year ....asking the Question " Why do I never see Russians on Visa Runs?" and I got flamed to hel_l.....a simple question I thought.

They only get 15 days on arrival. If they go through the correct channels at BKK...

This is not a flame, just to tell you that on arrival in Thailand a Russian national with a tourist visa gets permission to stay for 60 days, with a non-O visa for 90 days, with a non-OA visa for one year. These permissions to stay can be extended repeatedly if the person qualifies for any of the many types of available extensions.

It's only when a Russian national travels to Thailand without a visa and gets a visa on arrival that he gets permission to stay for only 15 days.

There can be a variety of reasons why you personally never see a Russian on a visa run, one of them being that they might fly whereas you run or use land transportation, another being that they apply for and receive extensions of stay.

Aside from that, your comment about visa run is off topic, has nothing whatsoever to do with the murder discussed in this topic. Please try to stay on topic.

In Moscow they follow people arriving with a lot of luggage at the airport to their homes and when the person goes out they clean the place out. Have been to Russia twice and would never go back. They still whisper about politics around the dinner table with the radio blaring, afraid that the Kremlin is listening to them. Many apartments have two steel doors, because on is not enough.

I heard they BBQ babies to eat as a snack with the bottle of vodka every Russian consumes at breakfast.

Was in Pattaya last weekend (against my wish), took a long slow walk through Walking street, the russian dancing outside the upstairs bar place was not bad looking at all, unlike most of her local cousins.

I even saw the one with 18inch waist and 36FF boobs on top some open muay Thai style bar.

The upcoming Hilton looks good and the general area is getting spruced up, must be the massive capital inflow from the Kremliners.

The 12 hours I stayed in the 'nice' lil town my alert level at a constant deep red, though I took my hotdog to the cookout.

????? and by all this what is your comment to the case ?bah.gif

More bad PR for Mother Russia. As Lonewolf points out, a great many of the mafiosa are not really Russian as they come from the autonomous republics or the Baltic countries & the Ukraine. Sort of like Mr. Bout the merchant of death. The upside of these thugs is that no foreigner ever extorts a "Russian" twice. Sort of like not robbing one. of the Sopranos.

I recall that during the heyday of Hizbollah in Lebanon as the Americans were being threatened, hidnapped and murdered, the Hizbollah kidnapped a Russian and tried to ransom him off, figuring the Russians would be pushovers like the westerners. The Russians reacted by capturing some Hizbollah operatives and sending their fingers back to the local gang leaders. After that, no one bothered the Russians again. I would expect that the same thing happens in Thailand. You don't mess with the Russians unless you are prepared for the resulting death and violence. I hope Pattaya isn't turning into that part of NYC that was taken over by the Russian mafia back in the 80's and 90's. The Russians were untouchable by the US authorities who had to get the help of the Russian government to put a dent in the criminal gangs.

pfff.

guess you a reading to much much pulp fiction and watching to many bad b-movies.

Unlike the typical, old man dies of heart attack in condo "news story", this is REAL news. What a story. Hopefully more details to come.

In the course of their investigations officers discovered that Mr. Victor's five bank accounts had been accessed everyday since his disappearance with a withdrawal of approximately Bt100,000 per day from teller machines around Pattaya

Five bank accounts? Guess Thai authorities haven't heard anything about the Russian mafia so far?

Amazingly, they can bring their prostitutes into Thailand without a passport or any other ID. Just because the Thais like Russian hores?

Mafia wars and real estate business. money laundering and there's no end. At least local cops are making good money too....... :jap:

I am a legit businessman and I have 6 bank accounts for my personal and business use.

SADLY some real bad eggs are around and many of them make a bee line for Thailand...not all Russian I might add......They could be Ukrainian / Latvian / Kazakh / Tajiki / Uzbeks / Turkmeni / Georgian / Chechyn...........Uncle Tom cobbly and all....Funny how this thread has not been killed off talking about one Nationality.....??? or are we all on a steep learning curve about some of our neighbours and their possible nefarious activities in the LOS ? Sorry I forgot its actually about the Pattaya police and their excellent investigating techniques..... irony /sarcasm......fact/fiction take yer pick

We have visa exemption agreement with Thailand, us when we come to Thailand, and Thais when they come to Russia get 30 days.

If you don't bother to check your "facts" before posting - don't post then.

RIP to the guy, and I hope young gay murder will get caught - he will be very popular in Thai jail, I guess.

What goes around comes around. Have you seen the Russians prostituting their Russian women in Pattaya, makes me sick.

100 % agreed. Russians are the only ones who can fly in to U- Tapao airport, direct from fagging Moscow.

Ain't no cops checking Id's? One night for a Thai with a "Russian mai mee arrai puta" more than $ 100. Insane.

They throw old women in jail, selling some Porno Cd's, but these pricks can do what they want.

I'll never forget a couple of years ago, when a Russian freaked out,in a hotel, cops were called. All of them had no education, but a lot of cash. Italian Mafia is like a Kindergarten gang against them.

But no arrest, their boss paid them good money. Thai corruption and Russian Mafia is a very bad and deadly mixture, dangerous for your health. :jap:

True to a point, but the east Europeans gangs are only part of the real bad eggs that are finding sanctuary in Thailand.

Thailand’s slack Immigration law enforcements, easily corruptible officials and easy access no questions asked admission in and out of the country have made Thailand a haven for foreign criminals and low lives. Justice can be bought in Thailand, why serve time in clink when you can pay as you go for your stay in Thailand within comparative freedom.

The word is out that if you are dodgy, Pattaya is the place to go, where there is strength in numbers among your peers. Pattaya is the barrel and the criminal gangs are the rotten apples that are filling it. The way this is heading Pattaya will soon become the criminal capital of the world.

Its nice to hear that the two Russians were released, now there will be more room in jail for the guys selling counterfeit tee-shirts! Its good that they have their priorities straight here.

Yup, let's arrest all those betting with their own money and release all those stealing other people's money after murdering them, <deleted>!!

They are not Russians. Their passports are, but their names are not.

They are from former USSR's Caucasus republics. It would be hard to find Russians, who would agree for such dirty and cheap work.

Think of this, as Arabs burning the cars in the streets of Paris the other year, were grandsons of Victor Hugo.

Russian news agency BCM provides this excerpt of additional bizarreness by the murderers in the case:

Having collected the necessary information (PIN numbers), they strangled Grishin, and afterwards shot his already dead body several times.

If they have Russian passports, they are Russians. ;)

Ok, in that case recent recent terrorist act in US, was performed by American.

Also all so-called Russian Mafiosos in NY are also Americans.

Herr Buchholz - and you from where?

So how does that logic apply to people who hold several passports?

Sad for the guy, but birds of a feather...

Plenty living in the UK holding British passports, I wouldnt call them British, foreigners living in the UK.

The good fraulein Angela Merkel is to be congratulated for pointing out what many have known for years, but the bleeding heart politicians wont admit to.

Perhaps when she has finished getting Germany back on track she can pop over and sort the UK out.

case closed based on assumption. He is Russian, he is rich and he is murdered so he must be Russian mafia laundring money for the mafia.

Great another Thai detective on the case. Not much paper work. Just put a few sterio types together and we can put the case to sleep.

like your style.

My thieory and it is just a thieory is that he was robbed by the Russian mafia because if he was working with them then he probably would not be killed for the money that he is supposed to be cleaning for his mafia work mates.

Your article was about people having fake passports.

There's no indication that the Russians apprehended today had fake passports.

Even the Russian media refers to them as

Russian businessman dies in Thailand at hands of fellow countrymen

btw, if a person holds a legitimate British passport, he/she is British, irregardless if you think they are undeserving of the title.

Hmmmm Seems like you have convicted the man with no evidence ..... yet you had a problem with another thread that merely pointed out that the man who died was in trouble with the police. If I were a red shirt I'd be calling you on "double standards" :)
