Nomenclature is very important and perpetuating the use of the term “Visa” when actually meaning “extension of permission to stay” is not helpful. They granted me a new 1 year extension of stay based upon my original NON O Visa. Guess you got me there! And once again, thanks to the CM immigration. It's easy for people to give you bad info based on someone using the wrong terms, and saying they have something when it's actually something else. You can imagine how someone might feel after getting help, and showing up at immigration only to find it wasn't helpful at all. Glad to hear you had a good experience.
