No, you have to do it at your office for the area of evidence. But you can do it by mail.

Thanks for the information,do you know what is required to do it by post (ie) documentation etc

Edit: Info already given.

You don't need ALL passport pages - often lots of pages have nothing whatsoever to do with Thailand.

Agree. I cut and pasted from the Immigration website. ;)

At CM immigration, for 90-day reporting, do you have to get a que ticket or just stand in line at the special 90-day reporting counter?

THX

Get a queue ticket, but usually there's not too many people reporting at the same time and they process them quickly. I was there at 0830 the other day and out before 9.

At CM, when you are there for a 90 day check in, you ask the officer (or uni student cadet) manning the ticket machine for a 90 day check in ticket. They check your docs to see if you have all the required copies, and issue a ticket specific for a 90 day check in. You are not in the q line for all the other people- just the one for 90 day check ins. It has never taken me more than 10 or 20 minutes to complete the entire process. Usually about 10 minutes total. I show up with the TM47 form already filled out.

The issue with copies of passport pages. You need to copy all relevant to whatever you are applying for. For a simple 90 day check in, that would be the face page, the current extension (or visa) page, copy of the departure card, and copy of the most recent entry stamp in your passport. If you're lucky, sometimes 3 of the above can be on one copy, depending on where the stamps were placed.

When you are applying for a visa extension, yes they often ask for copies of all pages that show previous extensions, in addition to the above mentioned. If you've been here 8 years, and have 8 extensions, yes they will ask for copies of all the pages showing those previous extensions.

As an aside for CM (and perhaps others), not worth getting to the office at open time just for the 90-day stamp... something like 10:00-11:00 or 14:00-15:00 is good as you would have cleared the bottlenecks and will often find your number up as soon as you get a ticket.
