Hi,

I have done a search for this topic with no luck. I am due to renew my retirement extension next month, in Mea Sai. Just wonder anyone knows how many days before, I can get my income verification letter? Validation period? Cheers

Believe embassy letter is still, at least sometimes, accepted for up to six months but you would have to check with the office you plan to use.

I got my retirement extension in late August in Korat with U.S Embassey letter that was a little over 2 months old.

I used one yesterday that was dated early June.

No problem. KK

I'd been told, don't remember by who, that they are good the same calendar year.

It used to be you could use the same letter for several years.

I got my embassy letter in September and will be renewing in December.A few weeks ago I asked Barry at Jomtien Immigrations if that would be OK and he said there was no problem.
