I can fully fund my Thai requirement in either of the ways I have seen mentioned. However, I would like the details of what the USA embassy in BKK would actually do. Do I log into my Bank websites, and show them my account statements? What is the actual process for showing or proving what is needed? Does the embassy write some letter after seeing that?

Any details or actual experiences appreciated.
