Because of where I am, a visa before arrival is impossible. So will get a 30 day stamp on arrival.

I am married to a Thai. Is there any chance of an extension for 10 days or so without making a border run?

Is a visa on arrival extendable?

You can go for a 60 days extension based on "visit Thai wife"

Almost the same requirements apply as for a one year extension except the financial part is not needed.

I figure the cost to me is about the same for a border run or going to immigration.

What is the paperwork involved? Immigration is closer.

Tm.7 and photo plus Marriage certificate/wife ID and normal passport copies. I would go with wife.
