Was watching a movie today in Thai with English subtitles. There were lots of weird translation mistakes. My favorite was when the innkeeper introduced himself and says ,

“Hello, I’m the publican (bar manager - AmE)” .

Translated as “สวัสดี ผมเป็นสมาชิกพรรครีพับริกัน”.

It reminded me of some other funny movie translations I’ve seen:

“Shut up!” - ปิดประตูด้วย

“I’ve got you’re back!” – ผมได้หลังคุณแล้ว

“Honey!? Honey!?” - น้ำผึ้ง, น้ำผึ้ง!

Anyone have any other good ones?

P. S. - Did a search and found that there was a similar topic a few years back -'amusing movie translations'. Funny stuff.
