Non-Imm O Multiple Entry Extension

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a mutilple entry non-imigrant O visa obtained from the Hull consulate in the UK which expires on the 9th December. Visa was granted to carry out some courses here which I have still not completed.

Can I get an extension here in Thailand or do I have to get a new visa back in the UK.

Thanks in advance for any help.

If by courses you mean at a government approved school or university, then you can apply for a maximum 1 year extension of stay from immigration. Check with the school for the necessary documentation.

If the visa expires on the 8th, you can just leave and re-enter the country on the 6th or 7th. Upon return you will get another 90 days.

If that is not enough, you could get a ED-visa with paperwork from your school, to recieve 90 day extensions. A 1 year extension will only be given if you study at an university.
