Bangkok in the past few weeks. I take this tollway every day and it seems to be getting worse every day.

Stepped out my back door to find this guy about a meter away eying me. Just an interesting subject to stumble across.

Found this one in my kitchen in Bangkok and everybody kind of panicked

Put it in a pink bucket, which it obviously does not like (pink or the bucket)

Vicious looking, or just pissed off. :D Pretty tight DOF, macro? A few months ago a girl at our office came out of the bathroom in a major panic. Went to investigate only to find a tiny Dtook Gah coming out the door. Took me a long time to stop teasing her about it. ;)

I actually do not have any macro lens, this one was taken with the 24-105mm from Canon.

But I sure would have liked to have a macro lens at that time :D

That's awesome Fred. The real story is in the hands. B)

Think I used my circular polarizer for this. It lets you take longer exposures, and at the same time taking reflections away from still water, making the moving water stand out better.

Glad you noticed...I like that too.....as in this one also...

One of my favorite places in Chiang Mai... the little stream that comes down from Doi Suthep.

The guy on the left would fit right in with a First Nations group in the south west USA. He's got that old cowboy look.

Had a dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya river quite a few times recently and you can take quite a few pictures.

But not easy to get a good one, for whatever reason they overdo the lighting.

Here is a Christian church along the river

back on my favorite rock..... recently exposed after being covered with the higher water during the rains..

Nice one, Fred. Good composition and pleasant colours in a lovely surrounding. Hard to beat Momma Nature. All we can do is complement her.

I love that one, Anguid. The reflections are lovely and the subject interesting.

Thank you Ian. I was riding my motorbike when I saw her with my left eye. Luckily I had my camera with me because I was looking to take a pic to the birds eating insects on the back of the water buffaloes (not any good pic!) but my trip was not so unproductive.
