December 2, 201015 yr Sawasdee Khrap, I loosed my last topic writing, I restart I m opening new company here. Not exactly. My Thai partner has a company, we will just modify the company papers to add me as 49% partner and change the company activities. After did it, what do I need to get a business Visa ? If you can advice me a good lawyer in Bangkok, Asok area for example ( good mean efficient and without a special tripple tourist price), I will appreciate. Thanks to share your experience. Khrap
December 2, 201015 yr Is it a multiple-entry non-B visa you want, ie from a Thai consulate, or a one-year extension of stay for the reason of employment, ie from your local immigration office? The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place
December 2, 201015 yr Without a work permit you will only be able to get a 90 day Non-B Visa. You will need this visa to get a work permit. Once you have the WP you can go and get a 1 year multiple entry or an extension based on employment.
December 3, 201015 yr or an extension based on employment. On proviso of course, the company/OP qualifies for an extension, as there are various criteria the OP and company needs to comply with to get someone on an extension of stay
December 3, 201015 yr Author Thanks for the answer. Actually we will be 3 partners. To get a legal work permit, I need 4 thai staff for 1 foreign (me). By waiting to recrut thai staff, I was thinking to get a one year multi entry business visa, but start to understand that its not possible. So, get a non immigrant business visa to start ( 3 month and one entry) wont be a problem, and this 3 months will be enough to launch the work permit process. The question, to be clear, is : where to go to get this business visa. I mean, I m french, I m in Bangkok, and I wont go back to Paris. Can I go to Ventiane ? Kuala Lumpur ? What s the cheaper, quicker and more efficient way to go Thailand and come back with this Business Visa. I will have everything I need to prove that the company changing partnership is on process... but I dont want to miss anything, a letter, a prove, or worst, goind in a country where the embassy answer that it s not possible to do this here. Thanks a lot for your answer. Khrap
