Penang Non O Visa

Back a few hours ago from Penang where I got multi entry non o visa issued because I have a Thai daughter.

Supplied: Daughters birth certificate, original and copy, photo copy on updated bank book showing more than 400k required, copy gf id card, copy gf house book.

I have just finished my 3rd yearly extension of stay based on employment which I canceled. Maybe having 3 extensions was favourable in granting a multi entry?

Good information and did you do this directly or through an agent? I suspect the 400k was more important than the previous extensions. With deposits like that available you might want to consider extension of stay on basis of taking care of child rather than having to make border runs.

The agents in Chulia Street have always been good if you got all the documents, although would say it was possible earlier this year with only 100k in Thai bank acc..
