dfgdfg Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 My family and I are moving into a relatives house for 4 to 5 months or so. Since the house is normally only used for shorter vacations, the owner doesn't bother setting up Internet connectivity. The home is in the Eurasia Cha-am development in Cha-am. Will I have problems getting internet of some sort turned on for the length of our stay? How long a lead time is required? Can you recommend who I should use and how best to contact them with no Thai language skills? How is internet delivered in the area, should I bring along my own wireless router? Thanks in advance
ESB7 Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 3B is very good and have different packages, however if you are at Eurasia that is a long way out of Cha am so not sure if they have connections up there....You can get a 12call or Dtac sim card and pay for how much time you use, 100 hours is 350 Baht or unlimied 1000...its an easy way to get started and connection is OK but slow for down/uploading
blyish Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 I think if you want high-speed unlimited internet, you need to sign a one-year contract. Otherwise, you'll need to get a card as ESB7 suggested.
