I'm a little confused here. I have a Kasikorn debit card and I also activated the virtual shopping card. I want to buy a birthday present for a friend in the US. The present is a full day at a spa. They don't take online payments so the only way I can do this is to call and give the spa my credit card number. Thing is, I'm not sure which card I need to use. The debit card must be swept through a machine in order to use it, right? So that leaves me with the virtual shopping card. Is that the one I need to use?

I think the point of the virtual debit card is that it is never used in "swipe" mode - as there is never any physical plastic. Therefore, I would think that one is safest over the phone.
