BambinA
what island would you recommend to visit in november? Koh Chang , Koh Samet During the high season, from December to February, temperatures on Koh Samui can reach up to 30?C (86?F). Brief tropical rainshowers occur mostly in December. This is the best season for European people as the weather is comparatively cooler than the rest of the year. From March to June it becomes very hot -- up to 40?C (114F), with little or no rain. You will appreciate your air-conditioned accommodation during this time! The months of July to September are hot with occasional rain. These are also popular months for visitors. October and November see more rain than other months, though it generally doesn't rain every day. In contrast to other regions of Thailand, Samui does not really have a well-defined rainy season but sometimes there are sunless periods for two or three days, especially during the monsoon month of November. The weather is quite difficult to predict during this time, but being Samui, you're virtually assured of getting some great sunshine! from samui-holidays.com If if comes to the south of Thailand( Krabi, Phuket, Koh Samui, Kao Lak etc. ) maijor rains do happen between the end of October and mid of December. But as we said earlier, it is raining mostly in the evening hours while on the day time there is a change of sun and cloudy skies. For a sunlover this might not be paradise, on the other hand for let us say a moderate sunlover it is much more relaxing then the hot season. from krabi.com
khall64au
Can't predict the weather anymore. It should be pouring buckets on Phuket right now but it's dry as a bone and has been for weeks.
Jack Jones
It rained so much in Lamai on Samui a couple of years ago (November time), that there was no longer a beach. The sea resembled the North Sea. Bangkok is nicer that time of year, so would imagine if you stick to islands close to the capital, you would benefit from the same pleasent weather. Khun Jean
Last years november was very nice with only occasional rain. But never lasting longer than an hour or 2. It rains now at this moment. Never can tell.

pyros
Weather in november can be bad , can be good ... I think it is a perfect time to visit because there aren't a lot of tourists around . Yes, it can be wet ... so what ??? it can be wet in about every day of the year . Temp. is still nice , it is cheaper ( low season ) and you would be very unlucky to have rain all the time you are there . I'm going in november also ... sbk
Last years november was very nice with only occasional rain. But never lasting longer than an hour or 2.It rains now at this moment. Never can tell. Last november's lovely weather resulted in very serious drought conditions for Samui, Phangan and Tao. My experience, after living here for nearly (gulp!) 17 years is that typically November is the rainiest month of the year. Normally there will be 2-3 days of solid heavy rain followed by a few days of decent weather, then more rain. If we are lucky, we will have a typical rainy season.
