December 30, 201015 yr Hi, my wife is getting a new retirement visa on the 5th of January here in Chiang Mai, her 90 day paper says come back on the 18th. By that time we will be in chanthaburi already. Can we just go to immigration over there to do her 90 day report,? Do we have to inform immigration here about our moving before we're even there? Thanks in advance.
December 30, 201015 yr She should ask on January 5 as they may be able to make arrangements for file transfer. Do not recall seeing any recent reporting on such matters. As for 90 day report itself some seem to allow now (after initial reports said they would not). As she seems to be making a move it needs to be done at the new location and she should report herself as living there as a change also. Most times if you ask what to do the officers will be happy to advise and it should be according to local policy (which does vary).

So we'll ask the officer what to do, but do we ask before or after she gets her new 1year retirement visa, because that is due also on Januari 18th, but we can do it one month before?
December 30, 201015 yr You do not say when her current extension of stay expires. If after the move it might be best to do it all at the new location. But if before the move you can ask in general terms - that planning to move to there and ask what she should do. You would not have to know exact dates for anything.
