Hi,

I have a thai daughter here and have been doing visa runs to Laos but was recently refused a tourist visa.

I am going to get a new passport this week.

I am wondering if it is possible to lets say go to Bali and send my passport back to the USA consulate in Houstan with all required documents (BC, ID card, etc) and get a non O visa and have it fed-exed back to me in Bali by a friend.???

Will there be any problems with incoming or outgoing stamps??

Also what would be the best US consulate?

If anyone has any information about this it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks..

The legality of applying from abroad can be questioned and you might need your passport if you stay in Indonesia. A lot of countries require you to carry an ID.

There is a Thai consulate in Bali, where you can get a non-O. Not sure about a multiple non-O, as we don't get many reports about Bali. But they seem to be friendly.
