90 Day By Mail

Featured Replies

I just attempted my first 90 day report by mail this week.

I am wondering what others have experienced doing this.

Is it working like clockwork for you ?

For how long ?

Others having problems of some kind ?

Delays ?

Rejections ?

Had to give up and go back to reporting in person ?

Also, I know there are many who do no reporting at all

even though long time residents with 1 yr visas.

What is the penalty if one is caught after not reporting

for 1 or more years ?

Is there a maximum penalty ?

Can one lose their visa privledges altogether ?

Thanks for the info .... appreciated

Section 76 : Any alien, alien, who fails to comply with the provisions of Section 37(2),(3),(4)or(5) shall be

punished with a fine not exceeding 5,000 Baht and with and additional fine not exceeding 200 Baht for

each day which passes until the law is complied with.

Above is the law - normal fine is 2,000 baht if no other charges.

90 day reports work perfectly for me.

I make copies of what I need and mail it in a couple of weeks early by EMS. This saves me about 4 or 5 hours travel/paperwork time.

I receive all my copies back and they always stamp on the correct date not the early date.

Couldn't be easier.

Photocopy of the following passport pages which show the:

*photo

*original visa (from previous passport if applicable)

*visa extension stamp

*stamp of the last entry into Thailand

*current re-entry permit (if applicable)

---------------------------------------

*Photocopy of departure card (front and back)

*Original previous 90 days slip (but keep a p/copy at home)

*90 days form (TM 47)

*SAE with B10 stamp

Send by EMS (usually B32) the week before your due date.

I'm also on first ninety day report. Sent by EMS about three weeks ago. Today is my 97th day but still have no written response from Immigration. Should I wait or go out to Chaeng Wattana in person asap?

thanks, RS

It would not be processed until day 90 or later so I would allow at least two weeks from date due.

It would help if posters could post to which immigration office they refer. I understand things vary betweeen them and not everyone lives in Bangkok
