Reentry Permit Pattaya Immigration

Featured Replies

If I apply for a re-entry permit tomorrow (monday) at Pattaya Immigration, do they process it then or do I have to come back the next day? I have a Non-O based on family(wife) and will apply for a one-entry re-entry permit.

I have to leave my passport with the Indian Embassy on Tuesday for a week waiting for a visa to India, so I must have my passport back on Monday. I can wait until the Indian VIsa has been granted, but as I travel on the 1st February and it could take longer than the week they say it should take - I would rather get the re-entry permit sorted out now.

Thanks for your help...

Thanks Soutpeel for the reply. I know the last time I got one a couple of years ago I had to go back the next day. Normally that would not be a problem as I live fairly near to the Immigration office, but I have to go to Bangkok Tuesday. I would never leave it until I was at the airport unless I was really really desperate - I would be a nervous wreck !!!

When I went for a single reentry permit at Jomtien last year I was told to come back within one week of travel.

I applied for a reentry permit in November last year 5 weeks before travel. The process took about 20 minutes.

Tropo and Bathboy, thanks very much for the replies.

Sounds like its pretty hit and miss - probably whether they are busy that day. I will wait until I get my Indian visa then it does not matter if they take a day or not.

thanks again
