January 9, 201115 yr If I apply for a re-entry permit tomorrow (monday) at Pattaya Immigration, do they process it then or do I have to come back the next day? I have a Non-O based on family(wife) and will apply for a one-entry re-entry permit. I have to leave my passport with the Indian Embassy on Tuesday for a week waiting for a visa to India, so I must have my passport back on Monday. I can wait until the Indian VIsa has been granted, but as I travel on the 1st February and it could take longer than the week they say it should take - I would rather get the re-entry permit sorted out now. Thanks for your help... Edited January 9, 201115 yr by dsfbrit
January 9, 201115 yr Should be able to get it there and then......you can also do at the airport as well now
January 9, 201115 yr Author Thanks Soutpeel for the reply. I know the last time I got one a couple of years ago I had to go back the next day. Normally that would not be a problem as I live fairly near to the Immigration office, but I have to go to Bangkok Tuesday. I would never leave it until I was at the airport unless I was really really desperate - I would be a nervous wreck !!!
January 9, 201115 yr When I went for a single reentry permit at Jomtien last year I was told to come back within one week of travel. I applied for a reentry permit in November last year 5 weeks before travel. The process took about 20 minutes.
January 9, 201115 yr Author Tropo and Bathboy, thanks very much for the replies. Sounds like its pretty hit and miss - probably whether they are busy that day. I will wait until I get my Indian visa then it does not matter if they take a day or not. thanks again
