Last Re Entry Date On Multi Entry 1 Year Non Imm"O"

Featured Replies

Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen

My first post since the holidays.

Wishing you and your families a healthy and peaceful 2011

On visa says must be used before 8 April if passport still valid

Does this mean 7 April is last date for a border run?

As I understand this will get me until 6 July?

or is it valid on April 8th too?

PS Is there still a downloadable 90 day calculator that used to have a link here.

Thank you in anticipation,I sometimes think the whole system could be easier for the elderly.

A one off 10 year visa fee? For many of us it is not just the cost but travel having to schedule

holidays hospital appointments etc ,whole life around arbitrary dates which are of no financial or security benefit to our hosts

April 7 would be the last date for a border run, hence the "must be used before".

Cheers.

I have a multi entry 1 year visa non imm "B" and my visa expires 0n 27 May 2011. I heard that if I cross the border a few days before 27 may 2011, I get an extra 3 month. Any one know if this true?

Yes, as long as the visa is valid you will be stamped permitted to stay for 90 days every entry.

I am not sure you understood my question. My visa expires on 27 may 2011. After that I have to apply for a new one for a year but I heard I get an extra 90 days if i cross the border before my visa expires. Only on time 90 days extra

Although it is best to return the day before the expiration date of the visa recent reports have all been that people are being allowed entry even on the expiration date. I would still do the day before myself.

Yes, provided it is the VISA that expires on the 27th (not your current permit to stay) then if you enter Thailand on or before the 26th of May you will get the full 90 day stamp.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

yes , it is my Visa type B that expires on 27th. So it's a one time 90 day extra a assume?

If you have a valid Visa you will get 90 days on entry.

It is not really extra - every entry during validity of visa gets a 90 day stay so if the day before it expires is your first or 31st it still gets a 90 day permitted to stay.
