January 16, 201115 yr Hi The air con in the car gets warm now and has less power. Can you recommend on Chao Fa East or West a Air Con shop that is HONEST and does Good Service. We live in Chalong but will drive up to Phuket town area. I did get one quote from a very small shop: Does this look reasonable? The expansion valve was 1050 Baht The evaporator was 2250 Baht Labor fee : 2000 baht (for freon, compressor service, etc..) but have not had good service here before and want to find another Thai Business to support and get a second opinion. Any ideas or recommendation? Thank you,
January 16, 201115 yr Not near CF roads, but if you go INTO Mission Hospital on Airport road, which is directly in front of the Toyota dealership......go into the driveway and there is a small soi to the left side. This is the easiest directions to give you, as you cannot see them from the main road. Anyways, they use original parts and Toyota buys from them. Toyota wanted 3 days to fix the internal blower. The mechanic whispered to us to go there instead. They had it up and going in 30 minutes. Same price, better and faster service and no cheap copies.

I Agree this is the best aircon shop on the island and guaranteed work..they check everything and give you an estimate..i might be a bit more expensive than the small shops but i wont go any where else..
January 18, 201115 yr Author Thank you to all who told me about the shop near the hospital, just used them , they were a bit more expensive but they did a superb job. the air is so cold now! I appreciate your input.
January 18, 201115 yr They were 100 baht more expensive than Toyota and I did not have to wait 3 days to get it fixed. You pay peanuts and you get monkeys! Glad we could be of help.
