I Need Help With A 90 Day Ed Visa

Featured Replies

Hello. I would like some visa help. If you can help me, that would be greatly appreciated!

I am currently studying in Bangkok. My course ends March 14. I have a 90 day non immigrant ED visa now. It Expires Feb. 13. I need to renew or reapply for another visa. I want to stay in Thailand for another 90 days because I want to find a job after studying and stay with my sweetheart.

I understand that I can do that at Vientianne or Cambodia. I would like to go to Cambodia(or to the border) with my girlfriend. She wants to take me there but we both don't know how to do it. I will have all of the documentation and photos ready from my school.

Do I renew my current visa or apply for a new one?

Do I have to enter Cambodia? or do I stay in Thailand at the border and my passport only goes into Cambodia? but how? .

Do I have to fill out an application form? if so... where can I download it from?

and I have to stay overnight while my visa is processed.. is that correct?

I hope you can help.. Thanks..

If you are attending class and have school paperwork the normal process is to extend for 90 days at the nearest immigration office. Cost will be 1,900 baht for TM.7 form (you can download) and a 4x6cm photo. You do not have to leave Thailand for that.

oh.. that is good news.. thank you

Is there an immigration office in or near Bangkok?

Soi 7, Chiang Watanna Road (near Laksi). Going west it is first left after CAT and in huge building at end of Soi. Enter at South entry and Immigration office will be on right just before the open area.
