Where did I ever say I wanted to see her as President? I never thought she was the best candidate that was available and fervently hope she does not get nominated in 2012.

We will have spent four years by then of having somebody imminently unqualified for the office of President act in that capacity and I do not want to have the current White House occupant reelected. Her nomination would almost assure he will be reelected.

Having said that, the question from Charlie Gibson had to do with an attack on a NATO member nation by Russia. She answered the question posed to her correctly.

If a NATO member is attacked, other members of the alliance are obligated to come to the defense of the attacked member.

I hope in 2012 we have serious candidates on both sides, for both President and Vice-President. "Ah shucks" Palin isn't one. I'm not sure if after serving two more years Obama will be much better than when he started. I don't see him getting much out of his on-the-job training.
