TLok
Hello All first time here great information. I have a quick question. I have been married to a thai national for 12 year she recently went back to thailand to open a guest house in jomtien and everything is in her name. ( yes I trust her) my question I am 43 and want to immigrate there. Do I need to get the business transfered into my name. Do a limited company (and pay a lawyer) not quite sure how to go about it any and all comments appreciated
Herbie
Let her keep the business in here name if it works. You can never protect your good self, even if you set up a Thai Company Limited. And even if you do, ou can't own it more then 49%. If your wife is ok, she mujst be, let her run the business and give you the daily pocket money to spend on Beer Chang, or whatever Pattaya can offer... fester
No, she can not. It must be a proper company limited with at least 4 employees and a registered capital of min. 2,000,000 Baht.
