Vientiane - Non-O Visa To Visit Family Multiple-Entry

Featured Replies

Hello

Do the embassy in Vientiane issue Non-O visa to visit family (wife) 1 year - Multiple-entry (As the one you can get in KL)?

If they do; What documents do they require?

In the region, only KL will issue a multple non-O., if you can show 100,000 in the bank. Other consulates in the region will only issue a single non-O, good for 90 days.

Normally it is wise to take with you:

- mariage certificate

- birt certificate (if have children)

- copy of wife's ID card

- copy of house registration book

- simple note from your wife asking for a visa for you

As said KL is the place to go. Most other local consulates will only issue a single entry.

do you need to be married to a thai only?

any alternatives for "normal"(no insult intend !)married couples?

like brit-lao or dutch-lao
