Ed-Visa Expires On 28.2 - Flight Home On 3.3

Featured Replies

I stayed in Thailand for 5 months now, working as a trainee (ED-Visa) for a company in BKK.

I am 24 years old and German. My Visa expires on my last working day, which is Monday the 28.2. however my flight back will be only on 3. March.

Since I got the opportunity to join an interesting (non business) trip (inside Thailand / by plane) from 25.2 - 2.3 I was wondering if there is a way to extend my ED-Visa for 3 days? Or change it to Tourist Visa (without leaving the country)?! Also interesting to get some information about the passport procedure for inland flights on Suvarnabhumi?

Thanks a lot.

You can normally obtain 7 days for 1,900 baht on any entry to allow last minute packout. They may require show of tickets.

For internal flights passport is used as ID by airline check in staff. For external you are checked by airline and then stamped out by immigration.
