Due to tighter security they have at Int departures cleverly decided to lock and barricade all the entry doors except one ! This means all leavers have to funnel thru 1 door causing congestion at one end of the building ! If there is a fire nobody will be able to get out ! Will they do the same at the new airport building , only one door to get in and out of departures ??

Do you mean when entering Terminal 1 or Terminal 2(, or both?) on the upper/departures level from the road, say when exiting from a taxi?

If so I did not notice this when I departed late last week. I usually go out of terminal 2, and aim for the first or second door as it is close to where I check-in.
