Business gone bad for whatever reason. There is a lot of speculation as to exactly what went bad but be assured this guy needed to take these two out for professional reasons. You do the job and let the politicians sort it out the best they can.

Pakistan Taliban admits to Swiss kidnapping

The Pakistan Taliban is claiming to hold two Swiss tourists kidnapped early this month in dangerous Southwest Pakistan.

The group’s number two commander Walliur Rehman told Associated Press that the kidnapping was ordered to gain freedom of Aafia Siddiqui, a woman serving an 86-year-sentence in an American jail for trying to kill U.S. officials in Afghanistan.

Rehman said the Swiss had not been tortured, but if Siddiqui is not freed, a Taliban court would decide the pair’s fate.

A previous claim of responsibility by the Taliban turned out to be false.

Local Pakistan officials have disputed where the Swiss couple was taken.

But they believed they were still alive.

An off topic post has been removed. Discussion of the US financial crisis would be another topic altogether.
