Limit Of Visas In Passport

There is talk that if you have more than 3 visas in your passport, ie went to Laos 4 times, only once for visa, other times for holiday, that Thai Immigraton may not let you out.

I spoke to a number of foreigners here in Roi Et this morning when Immigration came to the local hotel for 90 day reporting. I asked the immigration officer if I would have a problem getting a re-entry permit and going to Laos again he said no, there would be no problem after looking at the 4 Lao visas in my passport. Has anyone had a negative experience being refused ?A few of the foreigners I met there asked me to make this post. I am on retirement visa.

Thai immigration does not have any authority do deny you leaving the country, unless you broke the law.
