What is the best site to book and purchase airline tickets in and out of Thailand?

For the past few years, most of my purchased tickets have been with the airlines websites directly. I usually find the best fare via some search engine, then go to the airline's website directly and buy it there. In all but a few instances, I've been able to do this. I feel more secure buying directly rather than via a consolidator.
