March 3, 201115 yr It becomes valid on the date of your entry. attention, there is a limit to the time within you can make use of this issued non immi visa. It normally has to be used up within 6 months. Upon entering Thailand , the visa becomes effective. only then and only thereupon. hope this is useful info.
March 3, 201115 yr A Visa is valid from the dater of issue. The permision to stay is valid from date of entry.
March 3, 201115 yr As LB notes, your visa is valid from date of issue, the 'Must Enter Before' date will be 3, 6 or 12 months from that date depending upon the visa type (and sometimes the consulate's local rules). Unlike many countries you will get your full permitted stay even if you arrive the day before the visa expires. This means a multi-entry non-immigrant visa can be stretched to nearly 15 months in the Kingdom by doing a border run the day before the 'Must Enter Before' date "I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"
