SomTumTiger
HI All, I just bought a new ZyXel P-660HW Series Wireless ADSL Router, and I tried to install it ( I have true 6mbps ADSL at home), but I was expecting an easy "Wizard" set up, but it is not working that way. I tried to follow the directions I found here, but from the very beginning it seemed buggered, as I didn't get the "True" word on the first screen. http://support.trueinternet.co.th/technical/content/content.php?content=11025 Any help guidance, will be appreciated. beano2274
did you type in 192.168.1.1 in the browser window and then type the password (usually admin)?

trogers
You have to fill in the login name and password of your internet A/C into the WAN settings. User Name - xxxxxxx@truehisp Password - xxxxxxxx
lomatopo
http://support2.truecorp.co.th/detail.aspx?document_type=1&document_id=29 http://support2.truecorp.co.th/detail.aspx?document_id=213 Oops, I see you already found the True set-up information. Can you share the exact model number of your device, look on the bottom, or back. Did you get this from True, or did you purchase it yourself? If from true then the screens would show "True", if not then a similar, generic screen. The steps to successfully configure your device are pretty much like thse shown in the linked pages. Typically you would use a browser to enter the management system of the device, using the address 192.168.1.1, but this can vary be make/model. The you would use a default username and/or password to manage/configure the device, in your case mayeb just a password? And the defualt password may be "admin". Once inside the configuration menues, you'll need to set up the WAN port. The key parameters are Encapsualtion: PPPoE-LLC, VPI=0, VCI=100 then add your true account username, and associated password nnnnnnn@truehisp or nnnnn@trueadsl. You should have these on some paperwork from True. Which steps are challening you? Edited March 4, 2011 by lomatopo
