wife has just been to VFS today to re-apply for step daughters family visit visa. She called me to say that the visa cost has increased 140 baht from when she applied 4 weeks ago. Also the courier service has increased in cost also about an extra 40baht. Not alot of money I know, but could this be a sneaky increase before they increase prices again on the 1st April.

Visa fees are set in Sterling, and as said in this post, this increase in Bangkok is due to the embassy changing the exchange rate they use for all their fees, not just visas.

As you can see from this topic there will be a worldwide increase in fees in April.

As there is already a topic running on these increases, I'm closing this one to avoid duplication.
