Normally, I would head over to Chiang Mai, but I don't really have time this weekend and Chiang Rai is half the distance... Are there any decent department stores or shops that anyone can recommend please? The choice in Phayao is not great and I don't know Chiang Rai that well at all. pomchop Posted March 10, 2011 Share Posted March 10, 2011 the department store opposite the starbright hotel near the wang come hotel in downtown Chiang Rai is called Edisons and has a farily decent selection of mens' clothing as long as you don't need XXL sizes.
