Singapore Tourist Visa

Featured Replies

I'm planning to go to Singapore to get a Tourist Visa and would like to know if anything has changed since the latest report here on TV (my own, from Nov 2009). I hope everything is still quick and easy there?

One main reason you have seen no post about Singapore is because people have been going to Lao and Cambodia and receiving FREE double entry tourist visas from the time of your last posting till March 31, 2011. That is 6 months of freebies.

Many posters have posted negative tv experience since your last report, mine included. If you have back to back tv;s, this is not a helpfull RTE. This could change when TV are no longer free. Not a tv destination but still 2 day turnaround otherwise. Hope this helps you

Thanks for the replies.

My last TV was issued in Nov 2009 so I shouldn't have to worry about back-to-back troubles.

A double entry would be nice though in case my stay needs to be extended.

I know Singapore which makes it easy and comfortable (but not cheap). However, I haven't been to Cambodia or Laos before so maybe I should take advantage of needing the visa and going someplace new - and saving some money in the process. I imagine the Thai embassies there are madhouses with long lines? I'll research other threads to find the scoop. I still have 3 weeks before I need to go. Thanx again.
