rono
I have savings accounts with kasikorn and scb, I have to go back to y home country for a while and need to exchange thai baht to euro. I can buy euros at the local banks or chinese money exchangers but I also can withdraw at european atm's using my thai cards....what will be the best exchange rate option? rono
CharlieH
Go here: http://bankexchanger...et/default.aspx Dont forget to enter thb to Euro at the top. These rates will be better than you will ever get in Europe. Edited March 19, 2011 by CharlieH
alyx
If you want to take cash with you then Super Rich has always the best rate followed by Kasikorn (usually) Safest way is to transfer the money back as yiou would be allowed to do so in excess of 1,500;000 Baht You also have the option of Traveller's cheques (they have a promotion at teh Bangkok Bank -check with Kasikorn too- where the fees are reduced
alyx
And of course as said above the rate is better locally rather then ATM
