March 22, 201115 yr What Burmese border points are we able to get stamped out and then back in to Thailand? Is it still only Mae Sai in the far North and a boat from close to Ranong? Don't suppose the 3 pagoda pass is open for people who needs stamps out of and then back in to Thailand? Cheers.

The border crossing at Three Pagodas Pass is in a state of flux, but has been reopened as of December 9, 2010. But does that mean you'll be stamped out/in?

March 23, 201115 yr I so want to go to BAGAN on my next trip. I also want to wander up country in Thailand a bit, but for safety sake, I don't think I will loiter near the border regions. I will just fly into Burma. Heck, got to fly back in to Thailand anyway in order to get the 30 day visa. Might as well book a round trip from BKK.

June 22, 201115 yr Unfortunately until the Three Pagoda crossing is upgraded to international status it is not possible to do a visa run there. Mae Sot was still closed as of last week too.
