The attack, which killed one police officer and four civilians, was carried out in Doaba, which is around 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) from Hangu in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. Among the injured were several police officers. Police chief Abdul Rashid Khan confirmed the death toll to the Express Tribune, adding that barricades surrounding the police station prevented the attack to reach the building, although part of the police station was heavily damaged, as well as ten houses in the surrounding area. As investigations into the incident continue, no group or individual has claimed responsibility of the attack. -- © BNO News All rights reserved 2011-03-
