Activate 2Nd Entry For Tourist Visa

Featured Replies

I'm not doing the one month extension on my first entry, and just want to activate the 2nd entry for Tourist Visa. I have '3 April' stamped in my PP, if I do a visa run, do I have to go out before that date (ie: the 2nd April), or can I do the visa run on the 3rd April?

Also, I might take a trip to Phenom Phen, leaving on the 1st April, coming back about the 4th April, does the two months for the 2nd tourist visa start from when I come back in (for 2 months from that time), or how does that work.

Thanks in advance for any help with this!

60 days start from when you enter Thailand . The 3rd April is ok

You have to leave on 3rd April or before.

When you return you will get 60 days if your Visa is still valid.

You have already received two similar answers, I won't repeat them (I agree with the posters). I just want to add that Phnom Penh has become a very nice city since I first visited it in 1992. I am there regularly.

Make sure you visit the sites, Tuol Sleng being the most impressive (in my personal opinion).

Go to the Foreign Correspondents Club for lunch. Have a beer a Sharkey's in the evening.
