Normally using Digsby IM client for all accounts except Google, but using a webcam can be hard with DIgsby. Just opened the newest version on MSN messenger, but even it can't be hard, can't manage to get the online contacts visible. I know I'm not the only one with this hassle with MSN.

Any suggestions ?

This is a known problem with the latest version of Messenger. I'd advise you to get rid of the 2011 version and install WLM 2009 instead.

If you insist on using your current version, here's the fix:

Go to Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs and Features and select (highlight) Windows Live Essentials 2011. Then, click on the Uninstall/Change button. In the Windows Live Essentials 2011 setup window, click on Repair all Windows Live programs to reinstall WLM Messenger 2011.

Once repair is done, restart Windows Live Messenger and all contacts that are online should appear as online.

The newest version of WLM is bad to say the least, they have removed the ability to block people so all of your contacts that were blocked before now wont be, they have replaced it with an option called 'show permanently offline to this contact but that means they can still send chats!!

Digbsy is good and i have been using it for a long time but only about 80% of chats seem to arrive,
