We are looking to buy some land, and a drive way to road access owned by us will also be on the new Chanote. (I mean, there is currently one Chonote hat is being carved up to sell off some land).

How wide should this be, currently 3m is being said, I am concerned 3m would be to constrictive for any decent sized trucks. I expect there will be a block fence on each side.

I was think more like 4m wide.

Has anyone had experience in this?

Personally, If I were going to have a wall on either side I would not go with less than 5 meters. Much depends on how long the drive is but no way is 3 meters enough. One sneeze and you've scraped your car on the wall. :o

A 10-wheel truck or a fire engine needs 4.5m to safely reverse in. The former for construction and the latter for fire fighting.
