'Ignore Troublemakers' Lies', PM Abhisit Says

I can't tell if you are intentionally not understanding or just too simple-minded.

Personal insults aside (I won't stoop to your level) he still hasn't provided proof of his claims that "red-shirt gangs are frightening Democrats MPs from campaigning upcountry).

We wait for the proof as asked for in a previous post.

Perhaps if none is provided his post can be removed as misinformation?

Let's try again.

First I said "Like k. Jatuporn I have looked at the sky and therefor can claim". This not understood I elaborated a bit with "If I tell you I saw what I know in my crystal ball, or in tea-leaves of the right kind, would that clarify things for you? The spirits told me. NO LINKS! Got it now? Same like dear chap Jatuporn"

I hope you got it this time? When you have further questions or remarks, don't hesitate to contact me :)

Rubl only ever posts in yellow ink so difficult to understand

Correct, my dear chap. With most default settings you won't see a bloody thing if I write in yellow. Let try:

totally obnoxious text in yellow!

Mind you in red it works:

this is the nightsoil of a well-fed male oxen

you see? we do agree at last!!! everything is CLEARER when it's RED

dear JD, Animatic, whybother et al will all be thrilled laugh.gif

I'm sure they will agree that it's all red bull sh_it :D

(edit: add link on manure: http://www.gutenberg...s/manures3.html )

Luckily no one cares!

First time I see myself described as 'yellow propaganda'. Does that mean my very existence is thought of as only virtual, rather than flesh and blood?

As for 'no one cares what a few farang say on an internet forum!', very true. Welcome to reality, my friend :)

You can tell the people that don't care from the comments.

Wasn't an insult. You just don't seem to understand what he is saying.

He's obviously taking a bit of the p*ss out of jatuporn for reading the sky. That is the only source of his information. Makes him an equal of the politician. Get it?

No, sorry, that won't wash. He was responding to my post, not an accusation by Jatuporn.

Bottom line is he is making false claims.

My claim has the same validity as k. Jatuporn's claim. Now be careful, don't call him a liar, he will sue you ;)

Now back to the OP with "Jatuporn claimed that military teams have been dispatched to obstruct the party's candidates' from freely carrying out political activities."

OP: Ignore lies !

I assume that includes this:

(text of the speech delivered by Robert Amsterdam to the Red Shirt pro-democracy rally in Bangkok on April 10, 2011)

"A full year has passed since Thailand’s British-born Prime Minister, Mark Abhisit, sent his soldiers and snipers to Kok Wua to kill you, in an attempt to silence your calls for democracy. While PM Abhisit was successful in having many of your friends and comrades murdered, he has clearly failed to break your spirit and your fortitude."

The soldiers were not sent in there to kill anyone. They were armed with rubber bullets and tear gas in an effort to dispurse a crowd that was warned well ahead of time. The Red-shirts where causing all kinds of traffic problems and the community was getting sick of it. It was the soldiers who were under serious attack by the protesters who threw petrol bottles with fireworks (that exploded and blew off their feet or caused other serious injuries), rocks from sling shots, glass bottles, sharp sticks and so forth. The soldiers were outnumbered and being attacked for doing their duty. They had no choice but to fight back and if any of them got killed, it is unfortunate, but they should have known better than to provoke a military with a known history. They knew better!

The other side of the coin is red-shirt gangs (said like this on purpose!) frightening Democrats MPs from campaigning upcountry.

When has that happened during the run up to a general election? Links appreciated, thanks in advance.

Happens IME every time in the North-West & Isaan, just as TRT/PPP/PTP people receive a warm 'welcome' in the South, which is equally deplorable.

No wonder the current PM would like a calmer atmosphere for the forthcoming election, he recognises the problem, and speaks out about it, one small step in the right direction, etc ? B)

I have seen TRT/PPP and PTP people campaigning in the south with no hassles from anyone, they just don't get many votes.

I have seen them in Surat Thani, Sutheps bastion of power, and they get freedom to say what they want and their posters are not torn down, they even get left up for moths afterwards. So this is in stark contrast to the beatings and violent break ups of political meetings in the north/north east by anyone not on the Red Side of the fence or it's precursor groups of absolutist zealots and paid thugs.

Sorry but your argument holds no water. They campaign safely in the south.

Could you tell us what the moths do with them?
