MEGALITHIC
I need help. I'm using Windows 7 operating system. Didn't know that emptying the "recently changed" folder and then emptying the recycle bin would see me lose a whole bunch of important stuff, that was in the documents folder, that I really didn't want to lose. Have tried using the the recovery and restore option but to no avail. Is their anyone out there who can help me out with this; are those documents still recoverable or not? If they are then it's probably a bit beyond my capabilities with the computer so I'm willing to pay someone for their time in helping me out. Thanks and most appreciated. cyberbill
Stop writing to that drive immediately. Two useful recovery apps for this purpose: Restoration and Panda Recovery. Google around or Youtube, and you should find tutorial, because these are free (and thus quite popular) tools and very simple to use. I previously used Restoration to recover accidentally deleted files and recovered nearly 100%. Edited April 15, 2011 by cyberbill
