Urgent Visa Questions

Featured Replies

Hello!

My girlfriend and I have been doing out visa runs since arriving in Thailand in December. We first did a 15-day extension in Cambodia, then Penang for another 60 days. We are now in Singapore for our tourist visa run, but when we went this morning we were told we cant have this many in 3 months, but that they could grant it if we have future flight details showing our future departure from Bangkok.

We dont have the money to book anything expensive in regards to future flights. What do we do? Will we be let in BKK without a tourist visa and then be able to do 15-day runs? What about long term? We were planning on being in BKK until August.

We leave Singapore Friday - Thanks for your help!

You do not say how you leave Singapore but KL might issue if by land. Airline could require a visa to board but normally believe they do not on that run. If you make it back you might be able to obtain visa in PP - failing that only 15 day visa exempt would seem to be available.

Assuming you are flying from Singapore to BKK. Come in on a 30 day visa exemption. Then go to PP and get a double entry TV. It would help if you told us what country you are from.

Sorry, we're both from London and sorry but I don't understand the abbreviations.

Thank you for your help so far!

KL - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

PP - Phnom Penh, Cambodia

TV - Tourist Visa

BKK - Bangkok, Thailand
